The Golf Course - Pirin Golf & Country Club
Pirin Golf Course is a Championship class 18-hole (par 72) layout, designed by 2006 Ryder Cup European Team captain, Ian Woosnam, who personally describes it thus:
On Bansko?s scenic Pirin golf course, one will play amidst crystal clear mountain creeks, tranquil lakes and lush meadows. Mountain stream water comes into play on 5 of 18 holes. Its fairways are accented with wildflowers and greens are flanked by towering pines and white firs. This is a memorable place for picturesque play in the bowl-like Bansko-Razlog valley, just underneath snow covered peaks that scrape the skies steeply above, up to 8500 feet high.
Pirin golf course construction, including greens shaping, bunkers, water hazzards etc. has been almost completed till the end of 2006. The extension phase , that will bring the number of holes to 27 ? 36 is now on the drawing boards.
Pirin golf course will be as beautiful to look at as it will be challenging to play. This par 72 Ian Woosnam layout is physically demanding, not only because of the rugged terrain, but also because of its design - strategically located bunkers which guard the landing areas and large, undulating greens. It is widely believed that the first Pirin Golf tournaments will be played in 2010.

The Clubhouse
Set in beautiful location among pines trees overlooking the 18th hole, the Clubhouse promises to be one of the many highlights that make up the Pirin Golf and Country Club experience - combining comfort and elegance. Its cool, exquisite interior is being designed by some of the best architects and international interior designers to offer a welcoming haven after a day's golf.
